Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre is one of New Zealand's leading rural education centres, offering full- and part-time agriculture training courses, land-based education and Agriculture in Schools programmes.
Taratahi offers a unique learning environment, with over 6,000 hectares of commercial farm lands, a fully residential hostel and significant well-resourced teaching areas.
Registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, Taratahi is accredited to offer selected units of learning from the national qualifications framework in agriculture and many land-based skills.
Courses offered by Taratahi are carefully researched to ensure graduates have the necessary skills to meet the changing needs of the farming industry. Taratahi also completes an individual training plan for students to ensure the course they choose best fits their needs, abilities and aspirations.
