Oldfields has been in the Contracting business for in excess of seventy years. The company has developed into a multi disciplined, civil engineering, contracting company with an annual turnover of in excess of $33.5 million.
In 2003, Wairarapa-based Oldfields expanded into the Nelson and Wellington regions. With these strategic positions in place, the ownership of Oldfields was taken over by the Higgins Group in 2008.
The range of skills covered by the people at Oldfields can be seen in the diverse range of projects and types of work that the company has undertaken. Oldfields’ experience includes contracts for Local Authorities, work on State Highways, sub-divisions, domestic and commercial work, including design and build tenders. Oldfields also manufacture all grades of certified Asphalt, Readymix Concrete and Aggregate.
