UCOL Wairarapa is the region’s foremost tertiary training provider.
Based in Chapel Street, Masterton, the polytechnic offers a wide range of subjects, from nursing and trades to business skills and arts. The campus currently offers nineteen different programmes, including degrees, diplomas, certificates and short programmes.
UCOL’s lecturers bring a wide range of industry experience and academic learning to their teaching, and small class sizes mean they can work closely with every student to nurture their development.
The well-resourced UCOL Wairarapa campus is accessibly central to Masterton, and is set in attractive park-like grounds. Its facilities are designed to give students an introduction to real world work environments, and include a beauty and hairdressing salon, training restaurant, well-equipped trades workshops, a library and a marae.
