Breadcraft is a privately held company now in its third generation of family ownership, continuing a proud tradition since 1942 of baking quality loaf breads, specialty breads and cakes for regional, national and International markets.
In 1968 Breadcraft, along with four other regional bakeries, formed Quality Bakers (NZ) Ltd. Quality Bakers is now one of the Goodman Fielder group of companies and Breadcraft still provides product to the group under strong household brand names such as Quality Bakers, Molenberg, Vogels, MacKenzie, and many more.
60 years on, Breadcraft now employs 80 key team members and produces around 150,000 units each week and is set for further growth in the cake and specialty bread markets with new and innovative products continually under development.
